Test principle

After the overhead line is out of service, the host outputs low-frequency and high-voltage signals. Ac voltage signals are respectively applied to the line through the transmitting pliers on the left and right sides of the detection clamp, and the high-sensitive current transformer in the middle of the detection clamp detects the current amplitude and phase on both sides. The current passes through the host, the detection clamp, flows through the fault line, enters the ground at the ground fault point and returns to the host through the ground pin

The output of the instrument is a high-voltage AC signal, and the distributed capacitance and fault ground resistance constitute RC parallel circuit, by detecting the voltage and current signals on both sides of the line and the phase between voltage and current, judge whether the current load is capacitive or inductive, and then by comparing the size of the pure resistive impedance on the left and the right side, so as to determine whether the ground fault point is located on the left or the right side. Along the line, the detection pliers are connected to the line in turn, and the hand-held receiver indicates the direction of the fault point, so as to gradually approach the fault point
